Cox reissues their equipment so it may have been already faulty. Have you tried rebooting? If rebooting doesn't seem to help, try logging into your Cox account to reset your Internet modem.
Can you upload images of your modem logs...signals and events?

Whoever said "swap out modem" wins. So far, has solved my connectivity issues.

I'll presume the previous modem had operational connectivity but eventually began having problems.
Yeah...keep us posted.

Update: replacement modem worked fine for a few hours yesterday, then same loss of connectivity as the previous 3 month old modem. Now we're thinking that heat could be causing the issues. First time using this in summer-like weather. Temps in house got into upper 70's when problems 1st started over weekend, nothing too extreme. I relocated the new modem/router combo unit in the basement where it's constantly in the 60's. Once it cooled off it connected okay, has been fine for last 15 hours.
Is it possible these combo units tend to run on the hot side when used as-is? Do I need a dedicated fan blowing on it to keep it connected? Another possibility is enabling bridge mode and use my router that's idle at present. Maybe that would cut the heat down by only using the modem part of the unit. Anyone with bridge mode set-up experience?

As I noted above, there have been a few reports of the Panoramic getting hot. If you search "hot" or "loud" in the Forum (press Enter), you'll see from the titles. If you need to relocate it to the basement, dedicate a fan to it and turn off its router; why rent it? Purchase your own modem and router. Are other electronics in your upper-70s house failing? Probably not.

Modem temps may not be in play after all as stated. Yesterday, crapped out in basement after 18 hours @66 deg ambient. Brought back upstairs where it was 76 ambient, connected okay (4:15PM EST), still connected today. (7:00PM EST).
Now the only common theme we've noticed was hot temperatures OUTSIDE when connection lost (upper 80's) Becomes functional again after outside temperatures drop (60's today). If it drops out again, we're going to let Cox tech deal with it.

Levels around 10AM this morning, 6/6/2022.
Still dropping out every late afternoon for 1-3 hours for the past week. I have a technician coming out tomorrow.......

Killing some time while waiting for technician.....noticed my upstream power level jumped to 59.0 dBmv before connection cut out yesterday (4:30PM), still 59.0 dBmv when it came back (11:00AM today) - yes, it took 18 hours to come back this time, new record! Also, was curious why the "Correctable" and "Uncorrectable" codewords dropped off. Was it because I was down so long?
I'll report to all with technician findings later.
