Packet loss still a major problem!

Cox are you any closer to finding a fix for the constant packet loss we experience playing and streamimg to amazon servers and games lile rocket league and fortnite? This problem is going on almost half a year now and seems to only be getting worse! Today is the most frustrated I have ever been with this problem. This problem does not exist on 4g tethering to the same exact servers, my neighbor has centurylink and I setup at his house and experienced no packet loss it was the smoothest game play in months. Please find a solution or I will be forced to find a different isp. Here are some of the other users having this problem

    COX could most likely still be using old cables in your neighborhood. They have not yet updated all their cables yet. Some cables out there are 20-30 years old. They charge you for today's internet prices while providing you with cable lines from the 80-90's which were not exactly meant for high speed data transfer. Not exactly fully compatible with today's internet data

    Cox has been steadily going downhill for years. Verizon FiOS is looking very attractive considering it has faster speeds for cheaper.

      Except that there seems to be monopolies in some cities and not all cities have Verizon FIOS. Irvine is one example
