I have switched to 587/465 - done everything and still cannot send any emails. No one from Cox will even attempt to help. This is getting crazy.
I deleted my accounts on Ipad and iPhone and reinstalled and no issues. My wife's and sons work fine on 587 but mine is being rejected for outgoing but still receiving incoming.
Just spent an hour on online chat for them to give up and tell me they cant help... Just said Call Cox support
****** UPDATE FOR FIX *******
The problem has been fixed. Go into your main account and change your password to something that you have never used before. Wait 10 minutes and then go back into you incoming and outgoing email setting and update your password. Then it will work. The email stuck in the outbox triggered a spam setting in IOS/cox interface and will reject you trying to send. new password fixes the issue
