On Demand service is disconnected EVERY night and requires a Reload to function again Every day if we want to have the service.
The nightly reloads of my DVR box seems to delete my IP address. On Demand is disabled until I do a reload.
I am on my 3rd or 4th DVR box.Have had Multiple Service Techs out who could not help. Then came the managers they were willing to send, but to no avail.
They tried everything they could think of, one even ran a direct line to the Cable box across the street to the DVR box. They have replace cables in the house.
One told me this was a known issue at Comcast and since the boxes are Comcast technology or built by them they were helpless.
We tried calling in to COX, EVERY MORNING, to get the box reset being told we could do it ourselves but we wanted them to correct the issue and have a record of our calls and problem.
Been a while since we heard from or them, us. As long as we are quiet, they can close any service tickets.
Bottom line, I was wondering if anyone else had this problem?
