Have you actually used this method for Cox webmail? Seems complicated. I think it would be easier to use a email client. Good suggestion though.

I was actually going to try it but forgot I let my Cox email expire.

I don't think you can. It has to point to a email client on your PC. You could set up one for your Cox email. I hear good things about Windows Live Mail. If you have Windows Essentials then you should already have it. Otherwise there is Outlook and Thunderbird. See here for instructions.
