Issue with WiFi

I find it irritating that I report intermittent WIFi disconnects over the last month is met with, “ everything seems to be working good now” and if you want a new modem I have to drive 3 hours round trip from a store because the chat folks can’t find an issue. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. They made it seem like I was making this up or something. Why can’t you just send me a replacement??????
