Internet speed upgrade hasn’t activated

Upgraded to ultimate internet about 5 days ago, but I’m still at preferred speed. Have reset modem a few times already over the course of the week. I received an email saying I’d be informed of a UPS delivery, but I already have my own relatively new docsis 3.1 modem and my own router. What do I need to do in order to receive the service I’m paying for?
