Internet Offer from Cox Not Honored
I could not find a way to share this with Cox aside from the people I've already spoken with and failed so I thought I'd post here to see if anyone else had the same experience.
Last week I received a flyer mailed to me and in it an offer of 1 GIG Internet for $70/month for 24 months. I am already a Cox customer and it was not offered as a "new customer only" or any such restriction. As it is less than I currently pay, I contact Cox Life Chat (also as directed on the offer flyer) where I proceeded to spend nearly 1.5 hours discussing the offer with 2/3 people. They could not find the offer for my account and would not honor it and suggested I visit a Cox store. So, I visited a Cox store on Saturday morning along with the flyer where the agent told me they did not see this offer. The agent offered no other solution, instead just stared at me blankly. She thought perhaps it was a "misprint". Well, that may be but that seems like a Cox problem rather than a me problem.
Whatever the case, nobody honored the offer and no other offer was provided. Not sure if anyone else received this offer by mail. I'm happy to share the flyer with any Cox rep that may like to respond.
