I also live in Luling and am suffering the same problems. I’m being told there’s too much internet traffic and their network can’t handle it. If this doesn’t get fix anytime soon, I might have to switch to another ISP which somewhat pains me because I’ve been a customer for over 20 years.
Edit: Checking other community sites like reddit, it seems that it’s affecting other cities like New Orleans too. Cox, fix your god *** network…

If it was internet traffic causing it, the telephone would still work. If the modem is offline, it indicates the cable signal is the issue. Again, call your local Cox number and find out if there is work going on in your area. When Cox does upgrades, they are normally done overnight so as to affect the fewest number of people, and going out at late night/early morning fits that.
