Hi, did you manage to fix this problem? I am having the same problem. I am only on the 100 Mbps plan, but every few hours/days, I get throttled down to 10 to 30 Mbps until I restart the modem. I have been using cox for almost a decade, and this is the first time I have experienced this.
When your speed drops to around 32 Mbps it usually means there's some kind of signal problem or a problem with the coaxial. This is because 32Mbps is right around the maximum speed that you can get with one DOCSIS downstream channel and the modem will go into partial service mode if it has bad signal and will lock on to one like someone grasping a rope because they are about to slip. Try posting your signal levels. What model modem do you have for instructions. If it's a panoramic modem/gateway is it white or black?
