Extremely Slow Upload Speed
We recently switched to a newer/better router/modem on Sunday (four days ago), and ever since then we have had horrible upload speeds. We average about 0.5mbps, and we are connected via ethernet and have perfectly normal download speeds. We decided to switch back to our previous router/modem to see if it was a router/modem problem, and the upload speed issue persisted.
I have contacted Cox customer support six times now, and have had no results. I received different answers from different people, and am becoming increasingly frustrated. Nothing has changed except for activating a new router/modem and then re-activating the old one.
The router/modem has been restarted numerous times, all of the cables are firmly and properly connected, the issue persists with wi-fi connections as well, and this started happening out of the blue. The soonest a technician can come out is next Tuesday, but I desperately need decent upload speeds for my job and education. I am at a complete loss.
