Email not working
My email just suddenly stopped working yesterday afternoon.
1-Tried different browsers, no go.
2-Tried clearing cookies and cache-Nope.
3-I enter the correct info it goes to error 404 Page Not Found, if the password or username is wrong I get an immediate message stating that the username or password is wrong.
4-Tried adding the email to Gmail and it says: server denied POP3 access for the given username and password
5-Technical support changed the password on their end and say they can log in
6-Tried changing the setting per the page link they sent, no go
7-Tried the sign in link they sent, same error page
8-It stopped working simultaneously on: 2 separate desktop computers, a mac, android phone and an iPad
9-Changed ports and server to imap per technician and page link set, nope
10-Tried deleting and redoing the emails on all 3 devices, nope
11-I can log into the account with the emails associated with the account but when I click the email link I get the error 404 page not found.
12-In the address bar of the 404 webpage not found it says deactivated: https://www.cox.com/residential/support/email/ deactivated-mailbox.html (had to add a space to keep it from turning into a link)
13-Anytime I type myemail.cox.net into an address bar I get the error 404 webpage not found. Adding https:// in the front does the same thing. Both browsers, both fo which had cookies and cache cleared (firefox and edge).
14-For Firefox I did go into the settings and manage data under cookies and site data and removed all. Still a nope.
15-Just tried on google chrome, nope, goes to error 404 page not found.
