download/upload speeds vary between 300/35 to 55/2? Along with latency issues...

I swapped out the panoramic WiFi router cox gave me and I’m using a netgear c7000v2 which has a coax going into it with two 3dB attenuators plugged in. But my downstream and upstream dB levels are off. my ping goes crazy pretty consistently.

how do I fix this ?
