Cox Wifi Hotspot Windows 7 does not automatically redirect to the log in page.

I have a windows 10 and a windows 7 laptop. Whenever I connect to cox hotspot of cablewifi hotspot, a google chrome tab automatically redirects to the log in page. With the windows 7, that doesn't happen. When I click connect on the windows 7 laptop, it says connected, not internet. I have tried manually typing in the web address for the log in page and it still doesn't load, as it keeps saying, you are not connected to the internet. Please help. Thank you.
