Adding my email on my google phone app, not working-says wrong password but it's not

I am trying to add my new cox email account  (I have a few) to my mail app on my phone. I have a few cox emails on there so I know what I am doing. It keeps saying wrong user or password but its not. I sign on my laptop just fine. I am saying the account it "other" (not yahoo, google, outlook, etc. )

what could be wrong?

        Unable to get on the cox app to activate the panoramic wifi.  Using my ID a_pagano4694 and my pw.  I'm on Cox website using same ID and pw.  Not sure what I'm doing wrong.  After my ID am I supposed to add @cox.net?
