Email Access

Why do I have to login then go to Internet Tools now to access my email? I used to be able to do that at login. It is on any computer I have.

Thank you

Hi Long Timer, try accessing your Webmail from myemail.cox.net or email.cox.net. Signing in should take you directly to your Inbox. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator

Sure I can do that. It had always been I could log in on the Cox main page and then click on the mail envelope icon and access my mail. Why not now?

Long Timer,

I was able to sign in and access my inbox by clicking on the mail envelope. What do you see on the page upon log-in? Have you tried clearing your cache/cookies to see if that helps?

I see the mail envelope but when I click it, it goes back to the login. I clear cookies and cache every time I log out.

Hi Long Timer,

Does this happen on multiple devices? What web browser are you using? Have you tried using a different browser?

I too believe it's a Cox issue Long Timer.  I have had the same issue since they "upgraded" their email servers over a year and half ago.  Multiple calls and conversations with tech support, with the assurances they would fix issues, but no joy on this to date.  I have to use Edge in order to get into webmail; it just times out with Internet Explorer.

It would also be helpful if the web site was organized to the point that browser settings, and browsers supported for webmail, phone email, security, and other settings were more easily found / presented.

Good luck!
