Disappointed with Spectrum's Lack of Communication and Transparency Following Hurricane Isaias

I understand the hurricane caused significant damage and that restoring service takes time. However, I am extremely disappointed with Spectrum’s lack of communication and transparency throughout this outage.

There has been no meaningful information about restoration progress or a realistic timeline for service to return. For those of us who depend on internet access for work, this has created significant challenges. It’s difficult to make alternative arrangements when we have no idea what to expect.

I would also like to know how Spectrum intends to address billing adjustments for customers who have been without service for an extended period.

Customers understand that natural disasters happen. What we should not have to accept is being left in the dark about the recovery process. Spectrum needs to do better in communicating with and supporting the customers who depend on its services.

kishacwilliams - Hi, I'm so sorry to hear that your service hasn't been restored yet. Please know that we are working through each neighborhood, finding damage, and repairing as we go along. We are also dealing with power outages to our control centers and nodes. We are working as quickly as we can and want nothing more than to have all of our customers back up and running smoothly.

Our customers that are affected by this Hurricane will be credited for any downtime that they experience, of course. If you'd like to discuss this further, please reach out to us at https://www.facebook.com/Spectrum/ or http://m.me/Spectrum.
