Reapeating connectivity issues

I keep getting kicked off the network in the middle of work. I contact support only to be told that I should upgrade because my plan has a data cap. I ask how do I check my usage to keep track and when I go look it says I’m at 6% of usage. So this signals to me that they are intentionally throttling signal before usage to cause enough frustration to get people to upgrade. I asked about my modem if maybe it’s gone bad since I’ve had it for years now and I was told they can’t help because it’s a pre installed or self installed device but I had to pay a technician to run cables and help me set it up because I wasn’t getting internet when I signed up something was wrong with the cable running into my place they had to replace it and I paid so nothing was pre installed or whatever that means. I asked what that meant and they said they suggest I upgrade. I’m beyond frustrated with the service or lack of service from this provider. The more annoying part is I have no doubts that I’ll upgrade and they’ll still throttle it. I can get satellite internet for the $15 bucks more. I don’t trust that paying more means better services. They’ll nickel and dime you like they’re not already making billions. Wish I had more internet service providers in my area I would’ve already left.
