Change wifi network name
Ive searched all over and nothing is working. Even the forums here are over 5 years old on the subject. I want to change my home network name and password. I have the new Cox Panoramic modem and cannot find anywhere to change from the plain old "Cox Network" wifi

So sorry that all ended up in different responses. The return button was posting my comments instead of simply moving down a space. The information I gave you will give you access to your router. You just type your network ID in the search bar. It's very simple. 192.168.0.1 is likely your IP. All settings of your router are in here. Once you change this however, everything you have connected wirelessly will have to be disconnected and reconnected.
