Watch ABC error 400-1

This has come up before. I have successfully watched abc.go.com back in July or so. Then I started getting an "error 400-1," which ABC support tells me has something to do with my account "not being authorized" to view their content. Then the problem went away and for the past couple of weeks (as recently as Sunday night), I have once again been successfully watching a few shows. Today, however, I am once again not able to view...but only certain shows. I can watch Dr. Ken, and I can watch the Muppets (both of which I viewed last night) but I cannot view General Hospital or Quantico or Blood and Oil (the latter two of which I viewed last week's shows last night--Sunday). That makes no sense. Nothing has changed at my end since last night. How can I be authorized to watch  SOME of their shows but not others? I either AM or I AM NOT an authorized Cox account when their website checks to see if I have signed into Cox.

What is the permanent solution to this frustrating issue...other than getting a DVR unit? This website connection should either work, or it should not work...but whatever the final result, it should do so consistently, not change whether it works or not every so often.
