URC-8820 & CMH3200 Instructions
Are there instruction manuals for the Universal Remote Control (URC-8820) and TV Rx (CMH3200) available for download? I recently upgrade my Cox TV & Internet service and the only instruction manual given to me was a programming guide for the URC (codes for devices). I can't find instructions how to use all those pretty buttons on the URC. I am a retired techie, so I would like to know all the capabilities of the receiver (CHM3200) also. I also read somewhere Cox had tutorials online, but I can't seem to locate those either.
Any help is appreciated.

For the remote, you can refer to the support site at www.remotes.cox.com.
As for the CMH 3200, the following link will take you to our receivers. Select on the link under your receiver and it will give you the manual to your receiver.

Sounds like you need a manual for Passport-DCT. This is an older version with an older remote, but should help:

I had found that site before, but the info there is very basic and mainly about programming devices. I was hoping to find a manual that explained each of the buttons on the remote control.

That helped! The receiver is listed as a CMH3200 somewhere in MyAccount, but the model# on the box is a DCH3200 which is listed in the link you provided.

Yes, while this is a totally different model remote, at least a lot of the functionality is the same and helps.

These links provide either device program codes or very limited basic info. I was hoping to find more on each button on the remote. I have googled the URC-8820 but found nothing anywhere (not even on Motorola's site) so maybe there is no such instruction set available.

Turns out I goofed on the model# - it's a CHM3200 rather than CMH3200 (I got that off my bill or in MyAccount online). In any case Renee gave me a link to it.
