Packet loss
I've recently been experiencing packet loss while playing League of Legends. It seems like on the route, one node is dropping 75%+ of packets. Below is a sample trace (192.64.170.252 was the destination). As you can see, ae1.er5.ord7.us.zip.zayo.com ( 64.125.20.146) is dropping a lot of packets.

I originally tried emailing CoxHSI.Services@cox.com (I believe KMM21095144V89963L0KM is the support ticket number), and they seemed clueless. I did their basic trouble shooting steps (which includes sending me the same trouble shooting info twice), and also informed them my home address wasn't the only place with this issue. I also have friends experiencing the same issue (all use cox).
The only steps the support team took was pinging some random IP address and saying they weren't seeing any issues on their end.
I presented them with this information, and they just keep copy/pasting the same message about being sorry I have a problem and trying to set up a time for a tech to come out. My home connection obviously isn't the answer if I can do a trace from multiple locations and get the same packet loss at the same hop.

Same here but i work in IT. Its anytime between 2pm and 1am the packet loss is 47% games are unplayable. I have called and called. Lucky i move in 2 months. Been thro this before years ago with cox and it always ends up that the nodes i am on are over populated.

Looking at your results it appears the loss is starting at 104.160.159.1 which is administered by Riot Games. I'd suggest reaching out to them to see if they can investigate this further for you.

The loss on Riot's network is an abnormality. Normally that's fine. For example here's another trace.

As you can see, the only packet loss is on ae1.er5.ord7.us.zip.zayo.com ( 64.125.20.146). And I've shown them multiple traces, and they advised me to talk to my ISP to get the issue fixed as zayo isn't on their network.

This trace route actually looks fine too. I suspect you're concerned about 64.125.20.146. Note however that this hop is not actually showing any packet loss. We can determine that because no loss is occurring after this hop. If it were actually losing packets a similar patter of loss would be evident on all subsequent hops. Based on the symptoms you're seeing I believe your 1st results you posted are probably the most significant.

I have also been experiencing the same symptoms as the two above customers for the past several weeks, and have been in contact with both Riot and Cox technical support-- neither of whom have been able to pin down the problem. There has been no change in my home network; it had suddenly dropped performance one day and has been constant since. Perhaps this avenue may have some insight? Below are my most recent traceroutes:
