Only one channel working

I just hooked up a Motorola HD receiver from Cox.  The only channel that works is 1025 which is TLC.  When I change the channel the channel is displayed along with the time (which never changes from 5:00am) on a white background at the bottom of the screen but there is no signal.  TLC comes in clear as a bell but again I get absolutely nothing else.  Anybody else have this problem?
