Perhaps due to the "blizzard" here in the Omaha, Nebraska area, there is a partial (and at times, intermittent) Internet Web (both HTTP and HTTPS) outage. This is over the COX Internet service, both business and residential (as I have checked on both types of COX networks). Some websites are not accessible from the Omaha, NE area. This has been occurring since very early morning (2AM), until at least now (7AM). Sites such as Facebook are unavailable.
It would be great if COX would provide a "Status of our Network" page so we could see about these outages (time, expected return of service, cause, and those sorts of things). Other providers share this information. Why should I have to call or figure all this out by hand?
I'd be surprised if any COX representative reads these forum posts, though.
