notifications from Twitter

I need to know if messages from Twitter support are being blocked. I need to receive a link to reset my password via email. Twitter message says email w link sent, but it's never received. Is something blocking it from getting through to ********@cox.net? THANK YOU.

First, I think you want to edit out your e-mail address in a public forum.

What are your spam blocker settings ... from webmail click on Settings/Spamblocker Settings.  Do not select the 1st option "Delete incoming junk", select either of the other two, that will either move detected spam to a separate folder or tag the subject line.  If you have the 2nd option selected "move to Spam folder" check your spam folder for missing mail.  HTH.

HI, we do not have any company wide blocking in place for Twitter support that I am aware of. What is the email address from Twitter support that is not getting through to you? As AllenP (Forum Member) advised, please check your Spam settings and folder in Web Mail on our web site. You should check there even if you are using a different email application for email.  Are you able to check with Twitter support to determine if the mail is being returned?

Yes, it is a Cox issue. I am having the same problem, have checked my spam settings and that isn't the problem. I have to use an alternate gmail address to contact Twitter Support, but unfortunately my cox email address is associated with my twitter account. Twitter sent me this to my alternate email address:  "If your email is being regularly bounced back to us as undeliverable, we won't be able to consistently deliver your important notifications to that email address. If you'd like to troubleshoot further with your ISP, you may want to ask them to make sure they're whitelisting email from twitter.com. Please note that we aren't able to retrieve bounce logs for individual bounced emails."   So it appears until Cox changes it's email practices, we both will be locked out of our Twitter accounts.

I changed my spam settings several weeks ago to allow all spam into Inbox and I am still not getting anything from Twitter support. Obviously the problem is with Cox if there are multiple people reporting the same problem and we are all able to get emails from Twitter support in our other email accounts.

@hhaessler

Something else you can try is to go to Settings -> Preferences -> Allow/Block Senders in webmail and try putting twitter's email domain on the safe sender's list and see if that works.
