More twitch.tv streaming problems

Hi, I've already posted about this before but I was unable to provide a trace route of my problem. What is happening is, every time I stream on twitch.tv my internet just drops. I start lagging and I lose all internet connection for about 15 minutes and won't stop until I stop streaming. It's really odd because it never happens when I'm just using the internet casually. I have a friend from Kansas City who also uses cox who has trouble streaming to it as well, even thought he has a business package. Both him and I have called countless times regarding the problem and it's always the same spiel, "unplug modem, let me reset it on my end" etc.

I'm pretty sure cox is throttling traffic to twitch but everyone on the phone swears they dont throttle at all. So there might just be some issues with cox connecting to twitch server. I ran a trace route and here is what came up:

Can someone please just tell us what is going on, googling the problem shows up countless threads about people having the same issue.
