Simple question...if we leave the country and are not able to purchase Cox internet abroad, will we lose our email accounts?
If so, for how long will we have access after we close our accounts?

Short answer;Yes. I have heard the inbox may stay intact for a month or so but I haven't found documentation of that. I would suggest downloading all your mail via POP3 onto a computer (unless you already use outlook/etc) and then but a vacation message up for any important incoming senders. If you need remote access, gmail can sync with Cox IMAP server and download the email into your gmail account which you can access anywhere. Or see this thread for other ideas.
