Channels are temporary off air
I have channels that say they are temporary off air. Some examples of these channels include abc and animal planet. Also, On Demand doesn't work either. If anybody has any helpful clues or advice it would be much appreciated.

"Temporarily Off Air" is a generic error message you can get any time a digital receiver is unable to tune a channel. It can be caused for any number of reasons from a problem within the receiver itself all the way back to a problem with the broadcast source.
However, On Demand not working at the same time points to it being a problem with 2-way communication, and when I pull up the account associated with your forum profile the receiver is not responding back to test signals.
The signals on your modem aren't bad, but their frequency response profile helps point us to an inside connection issue, and the modem and receiver when compared to others in your area also point to an individual connection issue.
I recommend checking any cables or splitters you have access to for loose or damaged connections, then if the signal does not improve we'd recommend a service call. You can email us at cox.help@cox.com or call your local technical support to schedule one.
