Can't reach some websites

Having the same problem here in Topeka, started shortly after midnight. Some websites are fine, but cannot get into facebook. A call to Cox internet tech support said there is "technical difficulty".

Geez... I thought it was just me. Couldn't find any reports of anyone else having problems. I haven't been able to get the Facebook site to come up for several hours now. Some other sites give me an error at first but after a refresh or two they come up. Slowly though.

Monitoring sites report the FB site is indeed up and running.

It seems to be a problem with Cox. Yes, Facebook is up because I can access it via my cell phone.

I'm not a tech but there are times certain tv tiers (several channels on one tier) go down for awhile, am wondering if this is the case now with certain internet sites. Hopefully whatever it is gets fixed soon :/

I heard there were issues last night however when I tried this morning I experienced no issues reaching Facebook.

I heard there were issues last night however I tested this morning and I'm able to reach Facebook without issues.

Many websites were again unreachable for about  30 minutes this morning (1/17/2013); approximately 6AM to 6:30AM EST.   All is OK now.
