Use 587, however IAW APPLE suggestion, they suggest removing and re-adding the account. That causes the phone to rewrite the entire cfg file for that ID, and that should fix the issue. It's a know issue with iPhones.

If it doesn't work with the Apple mail app, try another app/client like Airmail.

I actually prefer SPARK, or outlook. I know that using APPLE and Microsoft in the same sentence is some kind of heresy, but - - -/

Yea, I am no iPhone expert. My mother has one but I don't get many chances to use it. I just got my Pixel 7 which I am really excited about.
