What is the "Expanded Service" on the TV portion of my bill?
I just looked at my Cox statement and see that I'll be paying more, again, next month. I have received the same services from Cox for a long time; no movie channels, no DVR, pay per view, etc... A quick glance at my records showsthat I'm paying39%more for the same servicessince my Oct 07 bill. The latest round of price increases are listed on the downloadablestatement on line. I don't see "Expanded Service"listed anywhere in the itemized price increases listed on the statement. I went looking at the Cox website and could not find what "Expanded Service" covers...anywhere. Like I said I don't receive any premium movie channels...strictly a low frills service. I get 70 channels. As other posters have said...those other cable providers are starting to look very attractive. Exactly what is "Expanded Service"?17KViews0likes2CommentsWhy do you refuse to add the One America News Network (OANN) to the Cox Channel Lineup?
There have been numerous requests over the span of several years to have OANN added to the Cox channel lineup, One of the most requested channels on this forum. And even so, aside from the ‘robotic’ responses given to every request on this forum for the past several years, Cox ignores these requests and appears content to continue ignoring our requests. It seems Cox Cable feels they are doing well enough that they have no need to satisfy nor to even bother to communicate their intentions to a large number of customers requests. I must admit, given the absolutely horrendous quality and performance of Cox’ “Wall to wall” internet service I would have thought they would attempt to focus more attention on their ‘adequate’ Cable Service. I spent the first 6 years in my current home without Cox services, I decided to give them a chance but I can’t say I am terribly satisfied. Even though the ads and website seem toencourage customer suggestions and input,it doesn’t seem Cox is very concerned at all about customer input or satisfaction.12KViews1like1CommentCox Communications not supported by Fox News 2 Go Service?
I want to watch the Fox News 2 Go service on my computer. It is a livestream of whatever FNC or FBN is broadcasting live on the net. You just need to sign in using your cable or satellite provider. However, Cox is not listed as a provider. What's the issue here, and is there any chance of it being resolved?Solved11KViews0likes5CommentsEAS Code
Every night the box in my bedroom displays 'EAS' which I assume means emergency alert system. When I turn the TV on, the image is black and no sound. Doesn't matter what channel is selected. I can cycle through the cox activity menu and that is about it. If I run a diagnostic all signals are receiving properly. I have power cycled the box already and still get the same issue. Again, this only happens at night, probably sometime after 7p and lasts into early morning. I am at a loss..9.5KViews0likes0CommentsMy TV Picture is distorted

I'm trying to catch up with ABC's 'Once Upon a Time' and watch it online, however it has me go through my provider, which is Cox. Once there, it says I don't have access. Is there some higher-tiered price package in order to watch ABC shows? Or should any Cox internet connection be able to connect me? Mine can record 2 at once right now (like the old DVRs). I went into the Cox store to return it, but the onsite person said they will be updating the software so that 4 shows can be recorded at once. Is that true? Also, she said that the slave unit will be able to pause live TV. They tried an update in January, but it didn't work, and expect it will be rolled out very soon.5.8KViews0likes4Comments
