TV Connect on Windows 10 GA not working
Hello; I just installed a fresh copy of the Windows 10 generally available release. I then downloaded the Cox TV Connect app and installed it. When I run it, it asks for my user name and password and then displays the guide. However, when I try to view a program, it says "Live TV is only available when you are connected to your home network." I am on my home network. I am on a computer that was running Windows 8.1 and it worked fine. I have tried running the program with administrator rights and the problem still exists. I tried uninstalling, then rebooting, the reinstalling with administrator rights and running it with administrator rights and the problem still exists. I tried running the program in Windows 8 compatibility mode... still nothing. Interestingly... I installed the Windows 10 RTM (or 10240 or whatever) three days ago before the GA was released and TV Connect worked. So I am at a loss. Any suggestions or is Cox working on a new release for Windows 10? Thanks3.7KViews0likes5Commentstv connect for pc

Does anyone know if there is a plan to provide TV Connect for the earlier version of the Samsung Tablet 10.1? I know it is out for Tablet2 10.1, but do not think it is out for version 1 of the tablet. Or does anyone know of a work-around to get TV Connect to work on the older Tablet1 10.12.1KViews0likes1CommentCox TV Connect App
Any one have tips on how to navigate the guide efficiently? I tried the filter tab and nothing really happened, I still had to scroll down the guide in alphabetical order to find the channel I wanted. Great beginning for the app, I can see where it's headed. Hopefully more channels, increased stability, and eventually connect away from residence.Solved4.4KViews0likes1CommentDisconnected from Live TV thru Cox TV Connect - SHAKEDOWN
Recently, Cox changed the rules for who can get Live TV on their iPad thru the TV Connect App. I have had access to Live TV for about 6 months until a few days ago, you have to have TV Essentials or higher and Internet Preferred or higher. I have Internet Essentials, so they cut me off Live TV. Did anyone else go thru this? I called Customer Service, and to get the service back, they want me to pay more money to get the Internet Preferred. Feels like Cox is shaking me down. They provide me a service as part of my package, and then switch the rules, and then ask for more money to get the same level of service.6.5KViews0likes4CommentsError code 107

We have a Cox DVR Universal Remote Control. My daugher pushed random buttons this afternoon and now our TV will not stay on. If I push correct buttons to turn on theTV, it comes on for about 3 seconds, then turns itself off. This happens with Cox/DVR remote and our general TV remote but the problem started w/ her pushing random Cox/DVR buttons. Any ideas?3.7KViews0likes2Comments
