Freezing In the middle of the show
I have been having an issue for the past week now where a show I recorded will freeze in the middle or at the end and ask me if I want to record again because something is wrong with the recording. Then it will tell me to delete the show and the channel I have on at the time will say unavailable. I did the online chat today where she rebooted my box twice and still didn’t fix the issue. Cox ** ! Verizon here I come.1.8KViews0likes2Comments"Sorry, we're having some trouble"

Almost routinely now my TV/DVR box is rebooting itself. At first it was just once every few nights, very rarely. Now it's gotten to every day these past few weeks into twice tonight alone. Is there something wrong with the box possibly or an update not fully taking to make it do this? It becomes very irritating when it is consistently interrupting watching things.1.1KViews0likes1Commentcharged for tv box because some tech said it was infested
I returned my tv box to our local Cox store in Roanoke, VA.n November 18, 2015. I had no problems with it. I was eliminating a bill, I didn't need. Two billing cycles later, I am billed $210 for a box they said was infested. I find that ridiculous since the box sat with my TV, stereo receiver, speakers, personal DVR, VCR and none of them are infested. I've owned the VCR for almost 20 years. Further, I raise exotic reptiles. Infestation of any type of North American bug could kill them. So, what gives? If I was given a box that was already infested, or just had bugs in it, that would be the answer. The last time a service call was made, I helped the tech replace all coax, and the boxes. He tried two tv boxes that didn't work, then pulled one that he had picked from a previous call, according to him. Whether or not it had been infested in a previous home or the back of his van had bugs in it from previous service calls, have no way of knowing. The wifi modem is not infested, and it sat next to the tv modem.. I don't know in which country people are expected to pay for something that they are not given the opportunity to even see. The woman at the store didn't take it apart, but she did place it on the counter to get the info she needed. No bugs crawled out on the counter. I live less than 6 miles from the Cox store. Why didn't they call me? I don't need these issues. If I had caused the problem, fine. But it is incongruous that my military lifestyle, which also involves Marine-type cleanliness, would have allowed any insects to live here. Please advise on where we can come together on this. This situation definitely needs more research on Cox's end. Thanks for any help you can provide, Rick Congrove2.1KViews0likes1Comment
