Non-stop SPAM for several weeks
I keep a Cox email account open to monitor alerts via my iPhone X and iPad Pro2 but not in Outlook on my pcs. Lately, I have been inclined to close that email account because for several weeks I am flooded with SPAM. Is there a fix for this by Cox or a solution that I missed?36KViews1like60CommentsSpam Infestation
I have noticed an increase is spam email coming into my primary Cox account within the past few months and have forwarded many of them to Cox's spam report, but it keeps coming in under a variety of subject lines including, Crepe Erase, Liberty Mutual Insurance, EHarmony, ABC Shark Tank, Lark Wellness, Ringing Ears, Home Warranty Special, to name a few. The domains are obviously bogus so I'm curious as to why Cox's spam filters aren't picking them up prior to delivery and I'm wondering if others have seen a similar trend? I have received 72 of them since May 21st!!23KViews3likes34CommentsSpam
Someone is using my credentials to send spam and I cannot block this person since the e-mail shown on the header is my own. I am getting at least 5 of those per day and I wonder if other people are getting them too and thinking they are coming from me. How can I get rid of this, is there a way to set up a filter using the actual sender and/or report this person as a spammer? Below if the latest one I received. NOW TODAY I SEE 2 EMAILS IN MY INBOX CLAIMING TO BE FROM COX WITH SUBJECT-IMPORTANT MESSAGE PLEASE READ. I CLICKED ON ONE AND IMMEDIATELY A WARNING POPS UP SAYING DECEPTIVE SITE AHEAD- ATTACKERS ON GPF.QUANTUM-CODERS.COM MAY TRICK YOU INTO DOING SOMETHING DANGEROUS..... I GOT 2 OF THESE EMAILS FROM DIFFERENT ADDRESSES BOTH IN MY INBOX. BOY, COX IS REALLY ON THE BALL WITH IT'S SECURITY- SENDING THESE EMAILS TO MY INBOX FOR ME TO OPEN. I AM GETTING FED UP GOING TO MY SPAM FOLDER AND FINDING IMPORTANT "NOT SPAM" EMAILS! I HAVE SPAM SETTINGS AT NO SPAM FILTERING. I WANT ALL EMAILS SENT TO MY INBOX. ON THE LAST EMAIL VERSION I DELETED THE SPAM FOLDER AND ALL EMAILS CAME TO MY INBOX. THAT'S WHAT I WANT NOW BUT CAN'T DO. WHY CAN'T COX BE BETTER? ALSO CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO INSERT PHOTOS ON POSTS HERE IN THE FORUM? THANKS4.9KViews0likes4CommentsSpam Blocker
At the suggestion of Cox support I turned my e-mail Spam Blocker on. I don't use the online Cox e-mail program, I use a program in my computer. The Cox spam blocker tags e-mails every day as being spam, when it is in fact not spam. I have sent many e-mails to thisisnotspam@cox.net. Doing so seems to have made little difference. The Cox spam blocker is creating problems for the e-mail program I use on my computer. On my account setting there are three choices for turning the spam blocker on, but there is no choice allowing it to be turned "OFF". How is the spam blocker turned "OFF".4.2KViews0likes2CommentsSpam email supposedly from Cox.

Has anyone else been having trouble logging into webmail?? I think the server was hacked because I have been receiving a ton of spam emails from my "contacts", and I have never received spam emails before. Does anyone know if the server is down or what is happening?3.2KViews0likes3CommentsMe.com is now considered spam???
My wife uses her me.com domain for her email and has been for some time. As of the week of 5/4/2015 my wife's me.com domain is now being blocked. I had to change my spam blocking to get her email to show up. Is there a way to get this fixed?? I shouldn't have to see all junk email, just to see emails from the me.com domain which is a valid email domain.2.7KViews0likes5CommentsAll of my sent E-mail is being rejected as SPAM. OK, I give -- repeated attempts to send a legitimate email to a few friends this morning, and each time the Cox email server refuses to send it. What does Cox need, my first born child? Please advise.2.1KViews0likes1Comment
