SPAM ISSUE CONTINUES FOR YEARS, CREPE ERASE, HOME WARRANTY, ETC...
Why can't Cox stop the SPAM? This is ridiculous. We pay extraordinary charges to COX for what reason. so we get the best technology! This is outrageous what is going on and has been going on for years. Come on COX! Get your developers to earn their keep.321Views0likes1CommentAll of my sent E-mail is being rejected as SPAM. All of my sent E-mail is being rejected as SPAM. I have talked to tech support about this twice and it is still happening. I keep a Cox email account open to monitor alerts via my iPhone X and iPad Pro2 but not in Outlook on my pcs. Lately, I have been inclined to close that email account because for several weeks I am flooded with SPAM. Is there a fix for this by Cox or a solution that I missed?36KViews1like60Commentswebmail down???
Has anyone else been having trouble logging into webmail?? I think the server was hacked because I have been receiving a ton of spam emails from my "contacts", and I have never received spam emails before. Does anyone know if the server is down or what is happening?3.2KViews0likes3Commentserror moving emails to other folders
When I try to mark the 20-30 daily spam emails as spam I get an error message that reads “The message you requested is unavailable. It may already have been deleted or moved from this folder.” I actually get that message when I try to delete a message as well. Also, I don’t think the SPAM FILTER is working at all. EVER!1.3KViews0likes0CommentsSpam Infestation
I have noticed an increase is spam email coming into my primary Cox account within the past few months and have forwarded many of them to Cox's spam report, but it keeps coming in under a variety of subject lines including, Crepe Erase, Liberty Mutual Insurance, EHarmony, ABC Shark Tank, Lark Wellness, Ringing Ears, Home Warranty Special, to name a few. The domains are obviously bogus so I'm curious as to why Cox's spam filters aren't picking them up prior to delivery and I'm wondering if others have seen a similar trend? I have received 72 of them since May 21st!!24KViews3likes34CommentsBlock a domain
I am receiving multiple spam emails each day from a “consumerbest.net”. Is there any way to block messages from that domain? Each spam begins with a different name, but each is from the same domain. I have been blacklisting these individually and marking them as spam, with multiple spam emails daily this is getting old. It would be much better if I could blacklist the entire domain, but I can’t find a way to do this with the current on-line interface.1.7KViews0likes0CommentsCOX FIX SPAM SETTINGS!
I HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT SEVERAL THINGS IN THE "NEW IMPROVED" COX EMAIL. SOME HAVE BEEN FIXED AT LEAST FOR NOW. BUT THE SPAM SETTINGS ARE NOT FIXED. COX CONTINUOUSLY SENDS MY PERSONAL EMAILS TO SPAM AND SPAM TO MY INBOX. SOME ARE EVEN LABELED SPAM THAT GOES IN INBOX. NOW TODAY I SEE 2 EMAILS IN MY INBOX CLAIMING TO BE FROM COX WITH SUBJECT-IMPORTANT MESSAGE PLEASE READ. I CLICKED ON ONE AND IMMEDIATELY A WARNING POPS UP SAYING DECEPTIVE SITE AHEAD- ATTACKERS ON GPF.QUANTUM-CODERS.COM MAY TRICK YOU INTO DOING SOMETHING DANGEROUS..... I GOT 2 OF THESE EMAILS FROM DIFFERENT ADDRESSES BOTH IN MY INBOX. BOY, COX IS REALLY ON THE BALL WITH IT'S SECURITY- SENDING THESE EMAILS TO MY INBOX FOR ME TO OPEN. I AM GETTING FED UP GOING TO MY SPAM FOLDER AND FINDING IMPORTANT "NOT SPAM" EMAILS! I HAVE SPAM SETTINGS AT NO SPAM FILTERING. I WANT ALL EMAILS SENT TO MY INBOX. ON THE LAST EMAIL VERSION I DELETED THE SPAM FOLDER AND ALL EMAILS CAME TO MY INBOX. THAT'S WHAT I WANT NOW BUT CAN'T DO. WHY CAN'T COX BE BETTER? ALSO CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO INSERT PHOTOS ON POSTS HERE IN THE FORUM? THANKS4.9KViews0likes4CommentsWho sets the Cox email spam settings? What the HECK?!?!?
Before this glorious upgrade the email servers went offline regularly, resulting in mail arriving an hour or two late, up to DAYS later. With this "glorious upgrade" I am now finding -all- my email being classified as spam. I dutifully read the FAQ and used their "not spam" setting. That didn't work. I have forwarded the senders to "Thisisnotspam@cox.net". That doesn't work. I don't want to check email via webmail everyday. That is a tedious PITA exercise. How can I just get my freaking mail?1.8KViews0likes1CommentSpam
Someone is using my credentials to send spam and I cannot block this person since the e-mail shown on the header is my own. I am getting at least 5 of those per day and I wonder if other people are getting them too and thinking they are coming from me. How can I get rid of this, is there a way to set up a filter using the actual sender and/or report this person as a spammer? Below if the latest one I received.
