Samsung Smart TV doesn't recognize wifi
Even when I manually enter the IP address I get error msg that it's an invalid MAC address. Never had a problem with it on Xfinity in 3 different homes in 2 different states! Maybe it's a Cox problem? My Mac picks up the signal fine. Tried to DL SaMsung update from their site (as suggested in another forum), but the TV didn't recognize it on the 2 dif ext drives I tried to load it from (prob a x-platform issue w/ Mac and Samsung-I know lots of their apps are android only)...Spent lots of hold time w/ samsung only to be disconnected!! HELP!!! I'M SICK OF THIS NOT-SO-SMART TV - - WHAT DID I PAY ALL THAT $$ FOR??!! I want my Netflix, Crackle and everything else back!!! We recently switched from Att to Cox. Our smart TV worked fine before the switch. Now it barely loads Fandango and constantly stops to buffer. My son is also having difficulties connecting to Netflix on his Xbox. Both are WiFi. I made sure to get a modem on the approved list for the Premier level. The technician also connected a phone router, so I have two boxes.5.1KViews0likes2Comments
