How to continue to the next episode.
I have been using a different company for years and this is my first time with Cox. There are two things I don’t know if I have the ability to change in settings or not. How can I get my cable to automatically go to the next episode of a series I recorded without it prompting me to see if I want to continue to the next episode. This is a basic feature on all streaming sites and DirecTV but I can’t figure out how to do this on Cox. When I pause a recorded show, if I leave it on pause for more than 10 minutes it just stops the pause and goes back to what ever channel I was on before I started watching the recording. Is there a way to stop this? Sometimes a phone call comes in or something else happens and it seems odd it can’t pause for more than 10 minutes. The clock on the guide of my Contour 2 system is two minutes behind real time. This will affect my set recordings. This happened a few days ago and a reset of the box fixed the issue but I cannot reset the box each time thus occurs and more importantly I should not have to do so.
