No internet
We have been without internet this is going day 3. Any attempt to get any update or understand what the problem is results in a general answer of we’re experiencing connectivity issues in your area and we’re working on it 😳 I don’t know about everyone else but cox internet service is pricy and customer service poor. Three days with no good communication is poor . What is the problem? When can we hope to see a resolution ? I've been using this coxwifi hotspot from my panoramic modem for a couple of months now and all of the sudden my guests can't connect to it anymore like it would connect, but it would say no internet and I would troubleshoot it from my pc and there it says no IP. The max guest I have connected to my coxwifi hotspot is 2-3 devices max. I also tried forgetting the devices and reconnecting and still the same outcome. It would also won't even do a popup page for me to sign into the hotspot account like it use to do when I would connect to it. The devices were only like 12ft or less away from the modem too. I also have a router that connects to my panoramic moden as a wifi extender for my peroneal wifi, but I've read in another forum that cox will stop my coxwifi hotspot if I use another router even thought it's also connect to the cox modem that I bought? So I'm confuse like is that true? Or does the hotspot has a problem like an outage if that's even possible. I pretty much tried everything modem reset and devices. be dope if some can help me fix it, so that other people can use the wifi because I don't have unlimited data.203Views0likes5CommentsNotification Letter of No / Slow Internet Connection
Hello! I work online at home and I am very much dependent on my internet. Today October 17, 2019, I was not able to log into my webpage account due to very slow and almost non-existence of internet connection. It affected my job. I didn't get paid plus deduction for not showing up in our platform. I would like to request a letter that would verify the problem that I encountered. How do I go about this? Does Cox have a specific email address for this type of concern? Please lead me to the right and fastest way to resolve my problem. Even when I manually enter the IP address I get error msg that it's an invalid MAC address. Never had a problem with it on Xfinity in 3 different homes in 2 different states! Maybe it's a Cox problem? My Mac picks up the signal fine. Tried to DL SaMsung update from their site (as suggested in another forum), but the TV didn't recognize it on the 2 dif ext drives I tried to load it from (prob a x-platform issue w/ Mac and Samsung-I know lots of their apps are android only)...Spent lots of hold time w/ samsung only to be disconnected!!
