DVR List not showing across multiple receivers
I currently have three receivers for my home setup (Cisco Explorers). 2 are DVRs and the third is a standard HD receiver. Recently I have been unable to view DVR shows recorded on the bedroom host in the living room (and vice versa). The DVR List button the remote no longer allows me to change the DVR list (to group by host - or show all recorded programs). So the only way I can watch what was recorded in the bedroom is by watching in the bedroom. I have verified that both hosts are "visible" and have zero problems with the recording or watching of the shows other than not being able to stream to the other receivers in the house. This issue began a couple of weeks ago - and if memory serves me, I believe there was an update pushed out to the device during that time. I have reset both boxes multiple times (either by unplugging or using the diagnostic menu) - nothing allows the DVR List to "see" the other hosts. Any other ideas on what I need to do to reenable this functionality we had enjoyed for two years? ThanksSolved8.2KViews0likes13CommentsPause is useless
I just converted from 3 motorola DVR boxes to 3 trio boxes. All problems duplicated on the 3 of them. It's nice to have the large capacity but trio makes it a problem. 1. DVR List always takes you to the beginning of the list which may contain 100+, some of which may be buried in a series (NOVA). 2. While watching a NOVA show (1 of 5), hit PAUSE and answer the phone or go fix breakfast. 15 minutes after hitting PAUSE, it will exit the recording, and start blasting with some other not recorded show. Often the COX channel, interrupting the telephone call. To make this worse, after you get back to the TV, you have to use DVR List to find your show and restart it. Since DVR List always starts at the beginning of the list, you have to browse down who knows how far, browse down into NOVA, and search through the descriptions to try and find the one you were watching. Very not user friendly.3.2KViews0likes5CommentsScolling issues in Guide and DVR List
I have the whole home package. When using the main box, I don't have issues, but when I move to one of the client boxes, I'm having issues with scrollign thru the guide and dvr list menus. For instance, when I go to the dvr list and start to scroll down to the show I want, all of the sudden the scrolling takes off at lightning speed and can't be stopped. It just continually scrolls thru the menu. The only way to stop it is to turn the power off. Once the speed scrolling starts, none of the buttons on the remote will work. I've tried resetting the box and sometimes this works, but then the problem just repeats itself in the next day or so. It totally makes watching anything on the dvr impossible from the client boxes. So frustrating!! My wife already wants to get rid of the whole home system because of the numerous issues we've had from day 1. I really like the option of watching recorded shows in different rooms, but these issues are making it much less enjoyable (and NOT worth the money). I did try to call customer service the other day, but a recording told me due to high call volumn, they weren't taking calls at this time. What kind of BS is that?2.3KViews0likes2Commentswhy have programs disappeared from the DVR?
Over the last several months recordings have disappeared from the DVR. I did not delete them. They never appear in the deleted list. The stats on the DVR say I have 53 recordings. I have 39. I want the disappeared ones back. I have used the Cox support chat several times for this problem but it has never been resolved. HELP!899Views0likes3Comments
