Why is my internet download speed far from what I am paying for?
I have had Cox Preferred service for a number of years. I consistently got download speeds of 30+mb and uploads of about 8 mb. So I just upgraded to Cox Premier service and I now still get download speeds of still 30+mb and upload speeds of about 16+mb. So Premier service is supposed to provide upload speeds of up to 10 mb and download speeds of up to 150 mb. Why am I still getting slow download speeds and higher than expected upload speeds?1.8KViews0likes4Comments

I've run: ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew Restarted my modem and wireless router (...yes, I did wait 30 seconds) Restarted my computer Did the hokie pokie and turned myself around. Is it just me or is the network s ...l ...o ...w tonight? Earlier today I had to restart my modem and router 3 times because the connection dropped. Maybe I shouldn't watch 25 hours of *** everyday?
