What email service has everyone gone to which is secure, and does not contain adds? I have my gmail on outlook but you cannot transfer the cox email because it is now on Yahoo but not a Yahoo address to add to outlook. We got talked into the new panoramic wifi and it is so BAD Cox had to hard wire our smart TV to get a signal. We are just waiting for Spectrum to get to our area to switch. Time to change We have been LOYAL cox customers for over 38 years. Always paid our bill on time and the only problems we ever had was an occasional outage when it rained. Two things happen about two months ago. We had the Home Life installed (it was supposed to reduce our bill) and we were offered the "total care". We declined the total care and now we have been battling the "Sorry, there seems to be some trouble" constantly and loose our tv reception. This has been going on for TWO months. Cox sent a tech to our home and he simply came in, checked the signal, said it was good and it was the CONTOUR BOX. He took our box with all our years of DVR recordings and gave us a new box. The next day, the same problem. Now we have to wait for another tech to be scheduled because Cox cannot talk to our contour box. This was a problem I showed the tech when he took our old box. Can someone tell me straight up if this problem is being generated by the home life or declining the total care package. I am tired of wasting my time and will just change to a different provider if that is the situation. Re: Factory Reset EVERY night!?! I didn't know Verizon did TV. I am so fed up with paying over $200 a month and I have to reboot the box EVERY day. I am checking into the deal COSTCO is offering. Contour box freezes After over 30 years with Cox this year has been a nightmare. I recently was offered Cox complete care but I declined. Now EVERYDAY my contour box freezes. I can continue watching whatever I was watching but can not change channels or control the DVR. I have to reboot my contour box. There is nothing wrong with my connections!! I only have ONE TV. I know it is not my signal because the show I am watching is crystal clear. I can get a tech to come to my house but now Cox wants $75 to service their products. DVR recordings red dot changed All of a sudden some of my series being recorded have a red circle with a line thru it on the third dot and the show did not record. Why?
