My internet stops at least three times each night between 6 and midnight and, for some unknown reason, at least twice during the day. i have upgraded my modem to no avail. This is a COX problem and I am taking steps to get off their accounts. I have Tmobile phone service and that is what i have to use to determine if Cox is having an outage. And Cox never acknowledges an outage but the service goes up and down. I need to get a gmail email account to replace my cox and get Tmobile internet. it has to be more consistent than what i have now. Internet up/down during the day For the last week or so, my internet goes up and down, usually during the middle of the day 11am - 4pm. Cox insists there are no outages but it is obvious the internet is slowed. Do you not have enough resources to provide consistent service to your customers or is this a metered issue where some customers are provided better service? Re: DVR space limitsI replaced the DVR and now the DVR has 11 hour-long shows but is showing 45% full. so the space issue still exists. Again, it appears that Cox is trying to force people to Contour. If there is nothing more that can be done, then my only option is to cancel my service.DVR space limitsWith the recent software updates, both my DVRs had issues with space, going from 60% to 100% full. in the process, several shows were deleted. one DVR responded to a couple of reboots but the other is still messed up. ie, 25 hour-length shows are 72% full and then, when one show is deleted, the percent full goes UP to 80% full. First, how do i solve the problem, because it is not possible to record too many shows without dropping others? Sedon, is this a designed defect, ie to force people to upgrade equipment or switch to Contour? Finally, if the answer is yes, please change hardware, then is there a way to transfer the shows recorded to the new equipment?
