Speeds are better now but not where they are supposed to be (7Mbps up). UNACCEPTABLE In my case it's not the pedestal, they did something today and the speeds were awesome for about 2 hours and the went back to the slow speeds. To me, that means that the issue is not here in my immediate area. I will give them a call tomorrow. This is beyond annoying. Re: Daily outages in my area. UNACCEPTABLE And it's gone again!!!! It was good for about two hours now is back to 0.05Mbps uploads. I think I'll be switching to ATT soon this is not good. Re: Daily outages in my area. UNACCEPTABLE So now my speeds are good, 250 down 30 up. This confirms that none of my equipment and lines to the house are bad. It'll be good to know if this is a temporary fix though. UNACCEPTABLE I didn't get a ticket from the tech, he only changed the connectors on the coax cable from the house to the sidewalk, tested it and said it was good. I saw him run the packet loss test with his device and the line was good. That's why I think it's something wrong with the neighborhood node. Hopefully, with your ticket they get to work and find out what's going on. Re: Daily outages in my area. UNACCEPTABLE I am very confident that the issue is in our neighborhood. I went trhoug the same process as you a few weeks ago. Changed the modem, no dice. Cox sent a tech to check the line from my house to the side walk and that was good. I have a single new quad shielded coax cable inside the house going directly to the modem so that's not the issue. I think they have a bigger issue in our area and they are not aware or don't want to fix it properly. Daily outages in my area. UNACCEPTABLE There are daily internet outages in my area (92026) this is unacceptable! I need to work remotely and with 0.5Mbps upload speeds, it is impossible. I pay for 300 down/ 30 up speeds and rarely reach those speeds AND NO it's not my modem and I refuse to reboot the darn thing again! So far I have not seen any credit applied to my account for the lack of service or any notice of when the issues are going to be resolved permanently. You guys are pushing me to get ATT more every day and I hate ATT but this is just wrong. Get it together COX!!!!.
