Bruce, Thank you so much. I know I'm old, but I looked at that page a number of times and never saw it. I think my mind saw Nomorobo and stopped there. I added the wife's phone, since I can have three numbers, and after two "sorry, try again" messages, it saved it on the 3rd try. We should be all set now. Yes, I have a Cox provided phone modem. But the model shouldn't change how the Cox Web pages read. I currently have Simultaneous Ring activated and love it.. What I wanted to do, was change the number of the phone that's ringing Simultaneously. The Voice Tools Cheatsheet shows Spontaneous Ring as available from the Voice Tools page. But going to Voice Tools >Settings does not show this feature. In looking through the Cox Web Site (a laborious chore in itself) I found this on call forwarding: When you can’t answer the phone Dial*92 Listen for the dial tone When prompted, dial the number of desired rings before the call is forwarded Dial the number to where you want your calls forwarded. You’ll know it’s set up when you hear a stutter dial tone, then silence. Turn On:Dial*92 Turn Off: Dial*93 Listen for the confirmation tone, then hang up. Call Forwarding No Answer is now off. ------ But if you try it, you get a message saying this service is no longer available. So why are the instructions still on the site?
