Add the cox.net account back selecting "Show More" "Show More" allows you to set the server settings I also could not find a way to change the server settings after the initial set-up. Remove then Add back using "Show More" Re: Move emails off Cox.net? Do you have a friend or relative that can help you install a POP Email Client on your PC? I do a lot of computer work for friends and relatives. I use a Remote Desktop program to access their PCs. SplashTop is the Remote Desktop that I use. https://www.splashtop.com/ Re: Yahoo Transition - Multiple Cox Email Addresses All Email accounts should be moved to Yahoo. I have three myself. Re: Old Cox emails saved in myemail.cox.net after Yahoo transition? I use POP on my PC and have my emails going back more than 20 years. Re: Old Cox emails saved in myemail.cox.net after Yahoo transition? Install an email client on your PC, Windows Mail or Outlook or BlueMail for desktop, etc, configure the email client to use POP (not IMAP). POP will download all emails located in your Inbox to the PC for storage. Any emails in folders that you have created, that are not in the Inbox, will need to be moved to the Inbox first. https://bluemail.me/help/how-does-my-pop3-account-work-in-bluemail/ Consult with someone if you cannot do this yourself. Re: Cox transition to Yahoo After the transition to Yahoo, you will get 1000GB or 1TB of email storage, (NOT 1GB), that's a 500 times Increase over the current Cox allowed storage of 2GB. https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN22068.html Re: Cox hotspot Purchasing your own Modem and Router will end your CoxWiFi public hotspot. I actually have a Cox provided eMTA because I have Cox Home Phone. It is a Modem only, I use my own Router and the Cox eMTA I have, does not provide a CoxWiFi hotspot. My eMTA is an Arris TM3402A: https://www.cox.com/residential/support/arris-tm3402.html As long as you have some networking experience or are willing to learn, Purchasing your own Modem and Router is the way to go. Re: Old Cox emails saved in myemail.cox.net after Yahoo transition? I added my Yahoo email account to my BlueMail App. So this is how I expect the cox.net account should look in a 3rd Party mail app. It's very simple. Re: Old Cox emails saved in myemail.cox.net after Yahoo transition? After the transition to Yahoo, your emails will no longer be available at https://myemail.cox.net/ Your emails will be at https://mail.yahoo.com/ Re: Cox email going to yahoo Most Cox customers probably don't have a Yahoo email account already. So It shouldn't be necessary to login with an existing Yahoo account. Once you are notified that your account has been transferred, you'd just login to Yahoo using your existing Cox full email address and password.
