ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsCurrent issue with League of Legends (NA) I'm asking support from both ends if there is an issue that I can not see as of right now as the problem isn't with my house or equipment. Are the nodes for Cox in NLVegas okay? At around the same time every day 6pm-8pm there seems to be some sort of strange lag with the game(I'm not sure when it ends, I end up too frustrated to continue playing). At first it didn't reveal itself on the in games ping, and it was strange micro lag, and now it's become visible through ping. The moment my ping leaves 57 and jumps around between 60-85. It hasn't yet revealed itself anywhere else, not while I'm streaming, not while nothing, but the game is happening. Still happening with or without any other devices connected. I'm wired in on my PC. This issue didn't happen until the most recent patch began happen. The season for the game just started so it could be there servers are taxed, but after the node issue I can't be super sure anymore of consistency with ISP. I've speed tested and ping plotter'd while in the middle of these things happening and nothing comes up so I can only really believe it's the game currently. Gonna be really frustrated if Riot Support tells me to do more junk just to tell me there servers are fine and to CHECK MY ISP. There was maintenance done earlier this week in my area apparently, but the issue continues to persist so it's only really convincing me it's the game. Though a single time during one of these nights my entire net blipped out for a literal moment and immediately came back, but I assume the maintenance afterwards would've made sure that didn't happen again. Re: WPS Button Issue. I didn't say it was only a pin, but extra things are being added to this conversation so I assume the information from others misinterpreted what I was asking for. As for that it doesn't seem to have the function you're mentioning, but it's also confusing when someone says that it does have WPS settings. This just further makes me assume some people contributing to this conversation also have no idea what this ** looks like on the inside(gateway) and assuming what this thing does or doesn't have, Real Confusing. Re: WPS Button Issue. Error 403 Re: WPS Button Issue. A pin isn't going to work when there is no where to actually input the pin, i.e. there is no interface for the camera itself. The HD Camera is worthless if it has to be right where the modem is to connect to it, but none of this matters if the WPS button on the COX PANORAMIC WIFI Technicolor CGM4141 modem actually works. I have to download a phone app to actually see the WPS setting is what you're sayingcrystals? Can't do it through 192 browser page or the Wifi browser page that cox settings in the modem direct me to [wifi.cox.com]? Going to need you to give me a little guide on how to find the WPS settings. The app page looks exactly like the inbrowser wifi page and I'm not finding where ever the WPS settings are suppose to be. Maybe it's disabled, but I don't ever recall ever finding settings for WPS having set up all of this junk myself. ---- The information around the internet is actually inconsistent and it is only becoming more inconsistent the deeper I try to look into this. The WPS doesn't work on my modem(?), I can't find the setting in any of the places that it's suppose to be in order to see if it's disabled, manually connecting the camera to the modem doesn't actually have it show up in any device lists anywhere(whether I have the modem set to home life security in port2 or not), The white homelife hub is connected to the wall and connected to my modem(has been since I got it awhile ago)and I don't remember how, but it remains connected properly even if the internet gets disconnected for a moment or even when outages happen it reconnects on it's own eventually. Have both apps and for homelife and panoramic wifi. It doesn't show up in the panoramic wifi App, and in the homelife app trying to add the camera does nothing, i.e. it fails and gives me a try again message instead. WPS Button Issue. So I have the homelife stuff and I want to set it up, except when I hold down the button on my modem to get it to do WPS it doesn't respond. It reminds white lit. If I press it after unhooking it and plugging it back up, it'll flash red at me instead. I've pressed the factory reset button on the back as well and that just returns it to being a flat white light. I'm suppose to get a blue light in response, correct? So why isn't it working properly. It is the Cox Panoramic Wifi Modem. The place where I want to put down the camera is not near the modem/close enough to use the ethernet cables. Does this thing have WPS settings that I need to set up? I tried finding them to no avail both within the modem settings and within cox's online modem settings (The one that actually requires your online acc login). Re: Identifying network I also get this. Re: Potential Issue Here that isn't seen by Cox Online Support. Problem continues to persist. Do I need another technician to look at my stuff? Can't do things that require a stable connection at this point that require more than 10 minutes. Let me know if you want my signals again. This isn't a weather issue and uncorrectables are cropping up again. Similar to the first time I posted signals. Re: Potential Issue Here that isn't seen by Cox Online Support. The Tech came out today at 1pm on the dot. He checked around and said he saw nothing wrong, but of course the problem wasn't occurring at the time. He was here for an hour and checked the box outside, checked inside and saw nothing, but the issue is still there and now with the random outages (One this morning and One literally an hour after he left) what is actually going on? Still getting spikes from hop 2 and so on even after the modem has been moved to a different room. This is without running anything and it's steadily spiking. Edit: Right after making this post and another signal response post, a 3rd outage occured. Re: Potential Issue Here that isn't seen by Cox Online Support. Thought I had a set time, but now it's just screwing up when I think it's safe. So now it's just screwing up whenever it feels like it. That's alright though Tech coming through on tuesday. Whenever you have to sit there for long sessions (things longer than just 30min+) 10 minutes is not enough, but that's all I can get it to show.
