Wow, I guess it's 2011, when Cox promised a fix to the CC button, because I no longer have to spin through multiple menu choices to turn on/off the closed captions. Maybe the blood moon helped out. Or an adept 10-year old programmer gave the Cox technical staff some tips. <SNARK>

Was there a code push to all regions? Was it just to Ed's region?
You mention other little usability improvements. OK, what are they supposed to be? What were the stability enhancements? What should be working better now?

For one, when you stop a recorded program in progress, you are asked if you want to save or if you want to delete the program. This eliminates a couple of menu layers. We got these changes a few days ago in San Diego.

I haven't spent much time looking for changes. New rev number is 3.6.0.401 dated 15AUG14 on the 8642HDC. The 9865HDC rev number is probably higher, but the date should still be 14AUG or 15AUG. New Axiom rev number is 3.6.2.2 dated 14AUG14.
Beside the STOP menu change, and the functioning of the CC, and possibly faster operation (but that always varies), nothing has jumped out and grabbed my attention. The PIP "SWAP" button now acts just like the "LAST" button on the remote. Is that new?
These are not "improvements" and "enhancements." These are corrections to an awful code.
