Why is my OnDemand not updating shows that previously aired?

I am having issues with my onDemand not updating shows that have aired days ago.  This is happening on both my network shows and my premium shows that I pay extra every month for.  For example, I am trying to watch a show Wednesday that aired on Sunday on Showtime, and cannot. The episode has been released on showtimeanytime.com, but NOT on Cox onDemand. 

Cox itself advertises that: "Shows are available in MyPrimetime the day after they premiere and remain available for the next 28 days."

This is clearly not happening.  

I have called and had a hard reset done on my cable box. Problem is still not fixed.  

Have others experienced this problem?  What is causing this?
