I recently upgraded my Cox service to take advantage of some package discounts on cable and faster internet speeds. Ever since, I've experienced nothing but frustration in trying to keep the cable on my TV due to the MoCA connection getting disabled. It just disables itself daily and sometimes multiple times a day. I've already had 3 service calls to troubleshoot and none have been able to fix the issue.
I had been going into my WiFi url and enabling the MoCA setting daily, but now when I try it automatically refreshes and disables immediately! Any ideas? I'm almost ready to cancel and move on to something else.
Do you rent the Panoramic?
What do you mean by "trying to keep the cable on my TV?" Do you have either a coaxial or wireless cable-box?
Pretty sure MoCA can only be enabled if you have a wireless cable box. See thread here for more info. What surprises me is you had 3 techs out there and no one told you this?!?
Probably left a 1000 MHz splitter on the feed, so perhaps subcontractor did "install" a filter.
Looks like it is temperamental even when you do have a MoCA box. See Reddit post here.
What cable-box uses MoCA? "Small black box with a blue light" is what...the Mini?
the whole home dvr
If OP only has 1 box, Pano disables MoCA?
