Guide shows 'no data' or 'to be announced'

Hi,  Our TV guide for the pass three days has said "To be announced"  for all the channels.  Is there a problem through out Cox cable or is this an issue just for us?  How do we get it fixed?

Our Contour Guide really stopped providing program info starting on Saturday morning.  Almost none of the football games showed any info.  Most said instead, 'Teams TBA'.

Now every program on every channel says 'To Be Announced'.

    Cox, please fix immediately.

    Regards,

This happened to me in Phoenix. The Cox moderators said to unplug the DVR for 2 minutes.  When you re-plug, the "To be announced" should disappear but it might take 10 to 60 minutes.  The regular tv guide will appear.  It worked for me. It happened to a lot of people so you are not alone.

  • We just returned from out of town to find the same issue. Hopefully it has been reported to cox.

This has been reported nationwide. It doesn't seem to be affecting all customers, but the ones it is affecting all seem to have found their way here or to our Twitter and Facebook pages.

In the few cases where power-cycling has not worked immediately, the complication is generally a communication failure, so we recommend the following procedure:

    1, verify your cable connections.

2, power-cycle the receiver. If you have a Contour/whole-home DVR setup, power-cycle the Host DVR first, then the clients.

If the reciever(s) aren't back to full functionality within 30 minutes to 1 hour after finishing these steps, then we may need to place a service call.
